Declaration of the CEO’s
Commitment to Compliance

Dear Directors and Employees of Samyang Corporation,

Samyang Corporation continues to drive its business forward in a wide range of fields, including chemicals and food, with the goal of securing sustainable growth and reinforcing its competitive edge in the global market. As part of this effort, we have introduced the Compliance Program (CP) to enhance corporate trust and promote long-term growth through strict adherence to fair and transparent market order.

The Compliance Program is a structured compliance management system that enables companies to establish internal standards and procedures and systematically ensure adherence to Fair Trade Laws. Through this initiative, Samyang Corporation is committed to upholding ethical management and laying the groundwork for long-term growth.

Samyang Corporation strictly complies with Fair Trade Laws and respects a fair, free, and orderly market competition. All employees are requested to fully understand the relevant laws and company standards during the course of their employment and faithfully comply with them. In particular, any acts that undermine fair competition, such as collusive practices, unfair trade practices, and violations of laws related to subcontracting and internal transactions, are not permitted under any circumstances. Any violations will be addressed under a strict “zero-tolerance policy,” with decisive disciplinary actions enforced. In contrast, we will further advance our systems to ensure that employees and organizations contributing to the spread of a compliance culture receive proper recognition and rewards. Going forward, Samyang Corporation will fulfill its social responsibilities as a trusted and transparent company through systematic compliance activities. Your continued attention and dedicated efforts are essential to embedding a culture of voluntary compliance with Fair Trade Laws through the Compliance Program.
